Mike Oxley
MENDOTA HEIGHTS
CITY COUNCIL CANDIDATE
Responsible spending. Strong public safety. A Mendota Heights City Council that listens.
What Mike Will Focus On
Spending tax dollars wisely
Mike believes city spending should reflect what Mendota Heights actually needs. With a population that has remained relatively stable, he wants to avoid oversized projects and make sure residents receive good value for every tax dollar.
Working with our police
Mike believes City Hall and our Police Department should work together as partners. He wants to listen to officers, understand what they need, and make sure they have the facilities and working environment to serve Mendota Heights effectively.
Listening to residents first
Mike believes residents deserve a meaningful opportunity to be heard before major decisions are made. He wants City Hall to encourage open discussion, listen with empathy, and make sure public input is genuinely considered before moving forward.

Why Mike is Running
Mike is running because he believes Mendota Heights has an opportunity to strengthen the trust between residents and City Hall.
Community Involvement
Mike believes strong communities are built by people who show up. From coaching his children’s TRAA baseball and softball teams to more than a decade of service on the Nativity Men’s Club board, Mike has invested his time in organizations that bring families together and support the community.
